Solution Summary

[Discuss this section with Requester and get approval prior to beginning work]
Generate a large amount of sales order which can be run through rescheduling to benchmark the performance. Once this benchmark is complete, apply OSS note 1591215 will be applied to the system, and a similar test will be run, to determine if a performance increase has occurred.

Test Plan

[List test scenarios/cases to be executed here]
Test Scenario/Sequence of Steps
Expected Results
1. Run the program in the background with open selection and log the details
All the SO's meeting the rescheduling criteria should be save
2. Create 2000 SO's through LSMW with three materials and 5 sizes.
2000 SO's should be created.
3. Post stock for the materials and ARUN the SO's and run rescheduling in the background
for the given plant 0116
Rescheduling should be carried out for the line items in the plant
4. Apply OSS note 1591215 and run rescheduling in background for plant 0116 and compare
performance in the previous step.
The job should be executed resonably quicker than in the earlier instance.
5. Create 2000 SO's again with plant 0116 and run rescheduling in background and measure
performance for the number of records and time taken.
The job should be executed in a shorter duration for a comparative number of
records/sales orders.
6. Run rescheduling in the background with open selection and measure the performance.
The job should be executed in a much shorter duration for a comaprative number
of records than in the first step.

Solution Details

[Provide complete technical details for configuration or programming here]
There has not been any significant change in the performance of the program after the implemention of the OSS in NED/NEQ environments. Hece, the note has not been implemented in NEP.
